Youth Development Program Director – Central VT (Berlin)
Seeking a part time (.80%) Director to lead the local Youth Development Program serving the Barre district. The Youth Development Program ensures that youth with foster care experience enter adulthood with the necessary supports to build productive and fulfilling lives. Using a strengths-based and youth-driven approach, the program promotes well-being across the following domains: housing, education, employment, social connections, transportation, health, enrichment and basic needs. Return House Residential Support Staff – 1st & 2nd shift (Barre)
Return House, a residential reentry program in Barre, serving young men ages 18-22 returning to the community from jail, is seeking Support Staff for second shift, weekends included. Support Staff provide supervision of activities and guidance to residents, including detailed accounting of resident activities, and strict adherence to program policy and procedures. Support staff will assist and engage residents in facility maintenance including cleaning, shopping, menu-planning and food preparation to develop skill building wherever possible. Vermont Coalition of Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs Youth – Paid Intern (Berlin)
Unique opportunity to serve on a 5-person team that supports a statewide network of runaway and homeless youth housing programs and service providers. The intern will help develop Vermont’s response to homeless prevention and services for youth experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity.
