Growing up is hard to do
especially for the most vulnerable youth in our communities
During the critical teenage and young adult years youth turn to us for help to:
- • stabilize their lives in times of crisis
- • build resiliency, life skills, developmental assets, and supportive connections
- • find their path and take concrete steps to build a better future.
We are a resource for youth, their families, schools, and other service providers, offering an array of integrated services such as counseling, substance use treatment, housing assistance, a teen drop-in center, and more.
If you are a young person who needs help, we’re here for you. Check out our services and contact information on this website. Or call 802-229-9151 to learn more.
If you want to help, we welcome your support. We can’t do what we do without you. You can play an important role in helping Vermont youth develop their potential and become successful adults.

2021 Community Thanksgiving Dinner
WCYSB passes the torch
After 48 years of running the free Community Thanksgiving Dinner in our area, we are stepping out of our long time role. We are grateful to National Life Group and Sodexo for their commitment to continue the tradition. And we are enormously grateful to all the community members who helped in so many ways to feed and brighten the lives of hundreds of people year after year. For more information, click here – or to request a meal, please call 802-229-7300 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Read more…

Same Services – New Location
We’re excited to announce that Washington County Youth Service Bureau has moved to 652 Granger Road in Berlin, in The Confluence campus, home to Green Mountain Community Fitness.
We have not changed our services, just our location. We already serve many youth remotely and out in the community – in schools, their homes, and other places that work well for them – and that will continue.
We moved out of our current location on July 20, and will bring staff into the new space in phases through the spring of 2021, due to the combined factors of being in the midst of a pandemic and the fact that our new space is still being renovated and constructed. Please note that many staff are currently working from home and due to COVID-19 our offices are not currently open to the public.
(Our phone number and mailing address is the same: 802-229-9151 PO Box 627, Montpelier, VT 05601. Effective August 1, 2020 our new physical location is: 652 Granger Rd. Berlin, VT. Please note that due to COVID-19, our offices are not currently open to the public.)
